International Women's Day Competition (Posted: 19/01/2012)
The Female form is our theme for the New Facebook Competition, inspired by International Women's Day celebrated on the 8th March every year. The competition opens on the 19th January 2012 and will run until midnight GMT on the 8th March 2012. To enter, all you have to do is post photos of any textile work you have done which includes a whole or part of (!!) a female form onto our open FB group at http://www.facebook.com/groups/130491393076/ . We'll judge the competition and announce the winner on FB on the 15th March. The winner will receive a lovely book called Sew Pretty Homestyle
External Verifiers Annual Visit Dates Confirmed (Posted 09/01/2012)
Our external verifier from City & Guilds will be visiting the centre this year on Monday 18th June 2012. This date can sometimes be subject to last minute change, due to health or organizational reasons, but this is the currently agreed date.
