FREE Taster Course

The School of Stitched Textiles produces short Taster Courses for those who have considered studying by distance learning, but require a taste of what is involved before committing themselves. The current one is on basic Feltmaking

This FREE course is an ideal way of discovering if distance learning would suit you and finding out a little more about different techniques at the same time.

The first of its kind to be made available, it leads students through a small practical project to try their hand at the craft and also to see how easy they find working from pictures and instructions.

Also included are some thought provoking questions on how well your life and learning styles would fit in with distance learning, and a skill level checker, so that you can gain an idea of where you are on a scale of complete beginner to total expert and an excerpt from one of our City & Guilds online modules.
